Low Side Braid

A low side braid is the perfect crossover look. It’s elegant enough for a candlelit romantic dinner, yet also relaxed enough for those comfy afternoon spring weekends at home. Stylists at your Toronto hair salon can cut your hair to a nice medium length, then you can do the rest at home. Create a centre part and gather your hair into a low side ponytail on the side of your preference. Separate your hair into three sections and weave a loose and casual braid. Secure the end of the braid with a hair tie. It’s that easy!

Braided Chignon

For an even more chic look, a braided chignon is a great spring hair style. Brush your hair. Your stylist can recommend a frizz-taming serum if needed. Make two small braid on both sides of your head, then combined the braids and the rest of your hair into a middle ponytail. Then separate the ponytail into three sections. Take the middle section and wrap it around the base of the ponytail, pinning it in place with bobby pins. We love this easy hair style that gives you a breezy beach look overnight with no effort at all. Just take a handful of hair and curl it until it is twisted tightly. Pin it to the top of your head with a hairclip, and repeat around your head (you’ll probably need three or four hairclips). Rest with the hairclips in overnight. When you get up in the morning, unpin and untwirl your hair. A touch of hairspray can keep your beautiful beach waves looking incredible all day long.
